Just For the Health of It

What’s your definition of health? The Merriam Dictionary reads, a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Health is for your mind, soul, and spirit to be full of the things that bring you peace. However, life is always lifing (I know that’s not a word but it does). With that being said, I do believe the stressful times in our lives help us appreciate our health even more. What are you doing to create a sense of peace and balance to your life? Here are a few things that have helped me. 

8 Simple Things to do to be healthy:

  1. Walk outside- the weather will help boost your mood, especially Vitamin D
  2. Love yourself and others- so many need you in this life
  3. Work smarter- not necessarily harder
  4. Read your books-  your mind is a muscle, build it
  5. Pray- this will keep you focused and at peace
  6. Find a community- we need people 
  7. Stay in your lane- don’t try to do what everyone else is doing
  8. Have a routine and work it


In the end, I am grateful.
